Each trimester includes a "special" course or two to go deeper into a topic...
Thanks to your enthusiasm for the topic, we continue our Roots offering! To register for this course, leaders and followers need to master the trava, sacada and paulista.
And we're excited to add two new short courses! These are 5-week courses which zoom in on specific parts of our dance world and are highly recommended as a bonus alongside your regular class (although you can also register for them as a standalone option).
1) Hands Free is for students in Level 3 and above. In this course, the leaders will develop their ability to lead with different points of contact, while the followers explore how to use their arms comfortably and expressively! We made a little video to give you a better idea of what this involves, check it out here.
2) Creating Leader Variations is an everyone-leads-and-everyone-follows course. In this course, everyone will learn how to create new variations of figures to diversify your leading and practise following them. To participate, you need to have completed Level 2 as a leader AND be able to follow vai e vem, pião, facão, balanço and xaxado.
And one final more piece of good news for this trimester: we're adding a mid-week prática! Join us at Salle Dublin on Wednesdays from 20h15-22h to get an extra dose of forró. Contribution-based, just like on Sundays, we recommend about 3-4 euros per person to help us cover the cost of the room.
LEVELS
At the end of the April-June trimester, we send a level recommendation to all registered students. This feedback will hopefully have clarified which level is right for you right now!

🍀 Full trimester → 142 euros (one class per week)

FAIR TRADE OPTION
We have a fair trade price for those of you who (if your own budget allows) would like to support us by giving a little extra.
The fair trade option is completely optional (no pressure at all!)
It costs between 0.80 euros and 1.20 euros extra per class, depending on whether you choose a full/flexi/double trimester.
REGISTRATIONS
You don't need a partner to register. We take care of balancing the leaders and followers in each group!

We're trying to make the registration process smoother, so please go ahead and make payment straight after filling out your registration form - don't wait for a confirmation email before making the payment (as we used to do in the past).
LEVEL 1 STUDENTS: We understand you want to try things out before committing to a new hobby! And our Level 1 groups often fill up completely. So to guarantee yourself a place for the trimester, you can register and pay before attending an initiation or Open Door class. You have 48 hours (and we're strict on this) after the Open Door class you attend to notify us via email if you do not wish to continue with the trimester and your payment will be refunded in full. Your place is only blocked and confirmed once we have received your payment, filling in the form without making payment is not sufficient.
If for any reason there is a problem with your registration (incorrect level, group full...) we will contact you and refund you in full.
