“I don’t want people who want to dance, I want people who have to dance.” – George Balanchine

Projeto Monitores: a project born in 2019 out of the desire to better share forró, improve the learning experience for my students and train a team of assistants and future teachers.

This amazing team of dancers provides support to the students in the classroom and studies hard with me outside the classroom to improve their understanding of pedagogy and forró technique and to enhance their own dancing and self-expression.

Andrés

If you want to get to know Andrés, invite him to dance. One of the most generous dancers around, he's the first to open the dance floor and the last to leave it.

Aurélie exudes positive energy - no matter the song playing, she'll be dancing: xote, baião, coco, frevo... A real fan of all Brazilian music, and a talented DJ to boot.

Christin

Dancing with Christin is a wonderful way to explore the magic of touch: she is simultaneously feather light and intensely present, controlled and perfectly free.
